Sand Dunes by Granville Redmond
In this exhibit, the Crocker presents 85 works by Granville Redmond, an early 20th-century painter known for his sweeping, serene depictions of Golden State nature scenes, from Northern California’s poppy fields to the Carmel coast. On Feb. 6, the museum will also screen The Kid, in which the late artist appeared with his friend Charlie Chaplin, who wrote and directed the 1921 silent film classic.
