Located in the Le Rivage hotel, Scott’s on the River is the first high-end seafood restaurant to land on the riverbank. The site takes advantage of river views (and even the downtown skyline in the distance) with large windows for indoor guests and plenty of outdoor seating closer to the scenery, replete with fire pits to counter the breeze off the water. In addition to its extensive fresh seafood menu, this outlet of the small Scott’s chain is the only one in town that serves breakfast (from extraordinary pancakes to crab-cake eggs Benedict), including a generous brunch window on weekends until 3 p.m.
