Since opening its doors (or rather, windows) in 1963, not much has changed in this West Sacramento food stand, and thank goodness. There’s a retro charm to the no-frills menu of burgers, fries, burritos and chili dogs. Use your Abs Diet free-meal-of-the-week to indulge in some fresh-tasting fare that’ll at least spare your wallet a guilty conscience (a hamburger and fries will only set you back three bucks). And save room for the famous milkshakes, with unusual flavors ranging from pineapple to our favorite, the ambrosial blackberry.
