Feast your eyes on French films in this annual soiree dedicated to celebrating the European country’s rich and varied film culture. All of the films screened during the festival—like the 2013 romance Les Beaux Jours (Bright Days Ahead), which features Fanny Ardant as a retired, married woman who embarks on an affair with a man two decades her junior—will be presented with English subtitles. $50 for opening night reception; $11 per film. Times vary. Crest Theatre. 1013 K St. 455-9390. sacramentofrenchfilmfestival.org
