Office Manager

Sactown Magazine  Sacramento‘s largest city magazine  has an immediate opening for a bright, organized, outgoing and trustworthy individual who is capable of handling a wide range of projects and activities using a diverse set of skills. A proactive attitude, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to multitask are musts. Daily activities include bookkeeping (accounts receivable and payable entries, cutting checks, and assisting the company’s bookkeeper in managing all financial record-keeping using Quickbooks); providing administrative support for the office including the sales, marketing and editorial departments (such as printing collateral materials, magazine stockroom and inventory, assisting in creating and updating marketing materials); maintaining subscriber records and providing customer service; running office-related errands (must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, insurance); filing and general office organization; acting as primary contact for vendors (telephones, copiers, Internet, printers, supplies); and office supply management.

Salary is dependent on experience. Minimum two years of business experience in an office setting required. Bookkeeping/accounting, print production, circulation and/or advertising experience a bonus.
