Roxy Restaurant & Bar
One of the charms of Roxy is that it’s both a go-to place for regulars and a spot-on choice for a special night out. The “go-to” part includes one of the region’s best happy hours—think smoked cheddar mac and cheese with bacon, a half-pound burger and lots more, all $10 or less—and brunch with stellar buttermilk pancakes and an uncommon beef Benedict. There are plenty of light offerings like charcuterie or a salmon chop salad as well, but the foundation of the menu is naturally raised beef from Lucky Dog Ranch (which belongs to Roxy owners Terri and Ron Gilliland). Beef items range from braised short ribs to the Elvis burger with caramelized onions and bacon. The open, earth-toned room also has both quiet corners for a date night and raised booths if you want to wave to all the regulars.
