Grab a beer with the Sacramento Ballet, who will be brewing up edgy, never-before-seen pieces, all of which are choreographed and directed by the dancers themselves. Presented in the company’s intimate studio at 1631 K Street, this will be the last of three weekends with 7 p.m. shows on Thurs, May 24, Fri, May 25, Sat, May 26 and Sun, May 27 (the Sunday performance is at 2 p.m.). The performances range from neo-classical solos to modern, interpretative duets and ensemble pieces, and will be topped off by a meet-and-greet with the dancers, with plenty of wine and locally brewed Ruhstaller Beer on hand. Tickets are $35 and include two drinks. But hurry — some shows have been selling out, and there are only a few more chances to drink up some culture this weekend. More information here
