Grange bartender in 1st place in statewide cocktail contest; still time to vote

Grange Restaurant & Bar's bartender Andrew Calisterio is currently riding atop the leader board for a cocktail contest sponsored by Alameda-based Hangar One Vodka, beating out dozens of other bartenders up and down the state for his "West Bengal Cocktail" that uses the company's Mandarin Blossom vodka. But the contest isn't over yet. Voting continues for 19 more days, so check out Andrew's recipe and video presentation here and vote for his creative concoction should it strike your fancy.

Inexplicably, the video title page places Grange in San Francisco instead of Sacramento, but no matter. Andrew sets things straight in the video. The prize: a write-up in a beverage magazine called The Tasting Panel and, of course, bragging rights for this dapper Sactown mixologist.
