Cafe Bernardo at Pavilions
Essential Information
The newest outpost of the popular Cafe Bernardo concept from the Paragary Restaurant Group had some big shoes to fill, taking over the space in the upscale Pavilions shopping center once occupied by foodie haven David Berkley. But fill them it has, bringing a cosmopolitan twist to the brand through its stylish décor that features love-seat-style booths with throw pillows, industrial chic lamps and outdoor seating with a view of sparkling lighted trees at night. It’s also the first Cafe Bernardo to offer table service, which it does during dinner. And happily, the tried and true menu that offers classic fare like pizzas, salads and sandwiches remains the same. The turkey sandwich (with apple chutney and white cheddar) is easily one of the best in town, as are the flavorful sweet potato fries. And don’t forget the lauded breakfasts, boasting creative omelets like a scrumptious brie and caramelized apple version, and classic standards like its yolk-soaked breakfast sandwich.
