Monty Python’s Spamalot

July 8–Aug. 13  Arthurian legend gets the satirical Broadway treatment in Spamalot, heading to Folsom’s Sutter Street Theatre. The stage adaptation of King Arthur’s divine quest—based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail and co-created by Eric Idle, a founding member of the titular British comedy troupe—won the 2005 Tony Award for best musical. sutterstreettheatre.com

Diana Krall
