Ever since chef Michael Tuohy, who helms Golden 1 Center's food program, gave us a sneak peek of his menu when the arena opened last year, we were instantly hooked, lining up before and during each concert and Kings game for loaded nachos and carnitas-topped hot dogs.
On Oct. 25, Tuohy once again opened the doors to his kitchen below the arena, offering a preview of the menu at Golden 1 Center’s two new "Local Eats" food stands: Smokehouse BBQ, which serves hickory-smoked meat dishes and Sweet Bird, which offers chicken sandos and desserts like brioche cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting.
