The Porch Restaurant and Bar
This midtown hot spot’s Southern twist on the holiday offers up oven-roasted fare from Branigan’s Turkey Farm in Woodland, applewood-smoked brisket with meat from Napa-based 5 Dot Ranch, or the vegetarian-friendly plate featuring pan-fried, Cajun-blackened potato cakes with Creole tomato sauce and sautéed Swiss chard. If your family outgrows your kitchen during the holidays, head over to either one of this steakhouse’s locations in Sacramento or Folsom, where gatherings can be accommodated with private, banquet-style seating.
