SacYard Community Tap House

Cuisine: American, International

Essential Information

3135 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95816
916-400-4708

Wishing for a great gathering spot in their East Sacramento neighborhood where the entire family (including Fido) could soak up the sun while Mom and Dad soaked up some suds, Melody and Dan Thebeau opened the kid- and pup-friendly SacYard Community Tap House in January of 2018. Housed in a former mechanics garage, the indoor-outdoor space features a 6,200-square-foot patio with picnic tables, string of lights, fire pits and games like giant Connect 4. The 24-tap bar pours a rotation of craft beers from the Western U.S., including Epic (Salt Lake City), Breakside (Portland) and local faves, such as Knee Deep and New Glory. And while you won’t find any kale to pair with your pale ale, SacYard offers a small menu of deli sandwiches, as well as pizza rings and focaccia breads from Freeport Bakery, and, Wednesdays through Sundays, bites from food trucks like Tailgater44 or Masa Guiseria. Lucky for the Thebeaus (and us), it sounds like their wish came true.
