Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick
June 6 British guitarist Peter Frampton co-headlines with rockers Cheap Trick at Thunder Valley this June. Frampton, a Grammy-winning artist who was inducted into Nashville’s Musicians Hall of Fame in 2014, will perform classics like “Do You Feel Like We Do” and “Baby! 311 and Pepper
June 12 The five-piece alternative rock band 311 from Omaha, Nebraska, developed a cult in the early ’90s, the with its mix of funk, rap, reggae and rock. At this Thunder Valley appearance, expect to hear throwbacks to the band’s early days, including “Down,” the single from the group’s 1995 multiplatinum-selling self-titled album, as well as songs from more recent releases, such as “The Great Divide” and “Ebb and Flow” from last year’s Stereolithic. Also on stage this evening will be the alt-rock band Pepper. George Thorogood and Brian Setzer
June 19 This co-headlined concert will rock this town, rock it inside out with the high-energy combo of blues-rocker George Thorogood and rockabilly idol Brian Setzer. Peter Yarrow & Noel Paul Stookey: Celebrating 50 Years of Peter, Paul & Mary
June 21-22 The two surviving members of the trio Peter, Paul & Mary, which made an auspicious debut in 1962 with its self-titled album that rose to the top of the charts within the first three months and has since earned five Grammys, will bring ’60s folk music to Folsom this summer. July 25 After breaking onto the rock scene with its 1992 album Dirt and unofficially disbanding a few years later, Alice in Chains came back in 2009 with Black Gives Way to Blue, the group’s first studio album in almost 15 years.
