Swiss-born Ettore Ravazzolo has been luring a stream of loyal customers through his doors since 1985 with his simple yet sophisticated food. At breakfast, patrons line up at the counter to order the house specialty French toast, made from Ettore’s own cinnamon rolls. The Niman Ranch burger on a house-made cheddar scallion bun with Swiss cheese and sautéed mushrooms also has a cult following. And there’s a tasty selection of wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, salads and an updated dinner menu with options including chicken, steak, pork, pasta and seafood. Don’t skip the desserts, though. Try the truffle cake, which is so rich it might require a nap when you’re done.
