Mikuni Midtown delivers delicious sushi satiation punctuated with design sophistication. The restaurant resides on the ground floor of a stunning makeover of a 1922 automotive building. Stainless steel, vibrant colors and flat-screen TVs create a mesmerizing glow. Like other outposts of this local chain, the menu offers endless combinations of clever sushi rolls (like the popular Pimp My Roll with spicy tuna, panko shrimp, avocado, salmon, masago, onion and macadamia nuts) and a gluten-free menu, along with more traditional Japanese fare. Local artist and former America’s Got Talent finalist David Garibaldi created the massive octopus painting that stands sentry over the main dining room.
