Pence Gallery Holiday Market
Through Dec. 24 This annual Davis holiday sale is open daily for interested buyers to walk through the Pence Gallery to browse handmade items from over 30 local artists from Sacramento, Davis and the Bay Area. Beginning Dec. 9, Sacramento painter Anne Gregory will have a featured exhibit of her animal paintings in the gallery with some of her art available for purchase as a part of the market. Davis Arts Center Sale
Dec. 2-4 Davis Arts Center’s largest annual fundraiser shows off knitted gifts, ceramic dolls and colorful glassware from over 60 local artists and crafters. Kids can play Santa by painting pottery and purchasing a crafty item for mom and dad with wrapping help from a volunteer inside the Children’s Secret Store. St. John’s Holiday Show of Hands
Dec. 2-4 This 38th annual craft fair will host over 150 artists selling their creative wares, from fine leather journals and handmade Christmas ornaments to intricate quilts and a large collection of vintage antiques and silver. Makers Mart
Dec. 3 This popular curated makers market is ringing in the holidays with handmade pottery, arts and crafts from over 40 artists from the Sacramento region. The event will feature booths with creatives selling their work, like hand-carved stamps by Brown Pigeon and cement succulent planters by Tufa Rock, along with holiday cocktails and homemade sodas from Oak Park’s Burly Beverages, coffee from midtown’s Seasons Coffee and catering by Pizza Supreme Being. Holiday Arts and Crafts Show
Dec. 3-4 Sacramento Fine Arts Center’s 22nd annual Arts and Craft show will feature work for sale from over 40 fine artists. Browse handmade clothing, stained glass fixtures and needlework, along with folded book art and painted cards to send out for the holidays. Stop by the gift shop for ceramics, silk scarves and jewelry from the center’s featured artists, and pick up homemade brownies, cookies and coffee at the show’s bake sale. Kondos Gallery Holiday Arts Sale
Dec. 7-10 Sacramento City College’s Kondos Gallery, named for former faculty member and noted local painter Gregory Kondos, hosts this annual holiday sale, changing up the offerings each year with varying forms of media and art available for purchase. The sale supports student and faculty artists by offering handmade ceramic bowls and vases, fabric buttons and bath bombs, among other unique pieces. Identity Coffees Midtown Bizarre
Dec. 10 Sip some hot local coffee while shopping for handmade local gifts at Identity Coffees’ Midtown Bizarre. The event will also feature cocktails and sodas from Burly Beverages and dairy-free gelato and desserts by Conscious Creamery. Among the art and gifts that will be available at the bizarre are colorful decoupage trays from Why Girls Go Astray, hand-carved stamps from Paper Gold Co. and glazed mugs and pottery by Scumugs. Handmade Holidays
Dec. 18 This 8th annual market at midtown’s Beatnik Studios will be packed with handmade crafts, including screen-printed clothing and towels by local maker Marty May, homemade soap by Sudz by Studz and items from over 30 other local artists and artisans. Chando’s Tacos' food truck and Federalist Public House’s beer truck will be on scene, along with a crepe stand and East Sacramento’s Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters.
